WHAT SEEMS TO US AS BITTER TRIALS ARE OFTEN BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE.” – OSCAR WILDE
This world of ours has a tendency to break us down and there can be no doubt that there are a lot of you out there who are hurting as I write this. The world gets more connected each day yet we seem more lost and disillusioned with our lot in life. We are a world of lost souls wandering over the through our own personal networks of loneliness, trapped in a cocoon of our own personal demons. We feel cut off from the world around us. The pain can get overwhelming at times. Time plays the clown with your heart and your pain becomes a mockery of itself. Even memories seem to become a burden.
CHARACTER CANNOT BE DEVELOPED IN EASE AND QUIET. ONLY THROUGH EXPERIENCE OF TRIAL AND SUFFERING CAN THE SOUL BE STRENGTHENED, AMBITION INSPIRED, AND SUCCESS ACHIEVED.” — HELEN KELLER
You might think a monster is growing inside you, a monster of your own making which often threatens to overwhelm you. This is why I’m here to tell you that this is part of the journey. Believe it or not, the journey has just begun. Time will heal your soul no matter how difficult it looks at this moment. Things get better. No matter how lost you feel at the moment know that you can freeze this moment in time. The future will get better and you cannot lose hope. You cannot let your demons control your life and you will not.
THERE ARE FAR, FAR BETTER THINGS AHEAD THAN ANYTHING WE LEAVE BEHIND.” — C. S. LEWIS
Sometimes we just have to realize that the journey itself, even with all its pitfalls has its reasons. The pain is hard to bear but it is also a test to make us realize that we are truly loved. It is in those moments of vulnerability that you finally realize that you reach out to those people who truly love you. It is just a matter of time before you know your true strength. Do not lose hope but remember that withstanding hardships and taking the bull by its horns is what builds character. As clichéd as it sounds, hope is what will get you through the darkest hours of your life. The basic lesson;hang in there. Don’t believe us? Take it from Leonard Cohen-
“RING THE BELLS THAT STILL CAN RING. FORGET YOUR PERFECT OFFERING. THERE IS A CRACK, A CRACK IN EVERYTHING. THAT’S HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN.” — LEONARD COHEN
